1. Aniunwiya (Cherokee) people were naturally lighter skinned than Indigenous people of the west. 2. She was mixed race but had Indigenous blood, and we do not consider ourselves by blood quantum's because we are not animals, we are people. And 3. You're an ignorant offensive pale face for your derogatory comment toward someone who is respected highly among ALL Indigenous nations, not only the (Cherokee) or Aniunwiya Anishinaabe people. So go spill your offensive comment somewhere else on someone who deserves white man.

A truly amazing woman. At at time when some women were being locked away in asylums just for wanting to work instead of being housewives, she crossed barriers of gender, race, and ethnicity to make a real change.
