Sea of Thieves is an upcoming action adventure game in development by Rare and published my Microsoft Studios for Xbox One and Microsoft Windows 10. As of this moment, no release date has been announced but a Beta is currently planned for the future.
According to the Official Sea of Thieves FAQ:
"Sea of Thieves is a shared-world adventure game (or 'SWAG,' as we’re fond of calling it here in the office). It’s a multiplayer game with crew co-operation at its core, and our ambition is to let players be the kind of pirates they want to be. Whether you’d like to hunt for legendary treasures, sail to the furthest island in the distance or hunt down rival crews, our ambition is to build a game that lets you pursue whichever adventure your salty heart desires."
Will their be shops you can buy stuff from and it be funny to do some sort of comical thing like in fable where they had potions to change your appearance but then I suppose that may be going away from pirates? I was hoping that ship customisation would not be so much like blackflag but more chop the tree's down and design the shape and size yourself along with the sails etc.... You can see it unfold as you build it.
ahahahaha, I always say to people ill throw a fish at you or (female dog) slap you around the face with a wet mackerel when im mad at someone so its funny :D It also be cool if their was some sort of design your own skin for pirate maybe, idk what you think to that.
Thank you! :) Those kind of items would be amazing- it would add to the replayability and overall humor / fun of the game! One of the earliest teases we ever got for Sea of Thieves was when Kudo Tsunoda of Xbox stated he was able to smack someone across the face with a fish! With something like that, who knows what we'll see in game haha!
no problems and love your youtube name. I lived in a small place called that once and no it wasn't on top of a ship xd. Fable items I used to love - Gender change potions but sadly their was only one so it was annoying and the size potions to change your size and not sure if they had it but skin colour potion would be nice and it be funny if u could throw it at anyone you wanted or yourself, a potion to turn into a mermaid where u can swim underwater with no issues and see coral and you loose hp underwater as a human pirate and pets would be fun, pet parrot or monkey. When building a ship I want to see the hull forming as you build it. I really want to see many clothes for sale too in-game from victorian dresses to Admirals coat. Build your own port would be fun too. Rowing boats that you can winch off the main ship to go inland? Gems and trophies to find on beaches along with the treasure.
Hey! I agree 100% with you- when this video was originally made, it was back in the summer of 2016. I hope that this was only an early prototype of the potential for ship customization and that by release, we'll have much more to look forward to! I'm also really looking forward to some in-depth character customization, how about you? Fingers crossed! :)
Hey Joey! As of right now, SoT is slated for a 2017 release but outside of the year, we don't know specifics just yet. It's anyone's guess as of right now in regards to the exact date. It does look great though! Hopefully we get it sooner than later! :)
That ghost ship just needs some tattered sails to add to the spooky theme & it's set.
Looking forward to this. Hope I get to play the beta! Got an email from Xbox about Sea of Thieves earlier alluding to more info :-D
Hey Illumi! I'll most likely do a Log Entry over at The Crow's Nest website because of the sheer amount of information from the panel. If I try to do a discussion video, it would be incredibly long from all the info! Expect to see the entry up on the website this week!
Why celebrate LGBT Pride? The history of oppression for LGBT persons has centered around notions of appropriateness/normality and invisibility. LGBT persons have often lost their families, their friends, their employment and their lives because others have deemed the way they love to be inappropriate or abnormal. Our society has a strong sense of gendered normality: Men do x and women do Y. Indeed, who we are allowed to love has historically been linked to that which is deemed appropriate for our gender. When an individual chooses to live with integrity, as an authenticate person, despite the societal dangers of doing so, they exemplify Pride; that is worthy of celebration. The freedom possessed by todays lgbt students was made possible by the courage and strength of individuals who refused to feel shame for who they were and Who lived authentically and openly, winning straight allies along the way. Instead of lamenting the paucity of role models living authentically when we, as educators, were in school, perhaps we are called to be the role model we wished we had had! Now, and every day, is the time for Pride!

May 22nd is Education Support Professionals Day!!
As educators, we know the crucial role played by the thousands of paraprofessionals, office workers, bus drivers, custodians and maintenance staff in our schools and/or Community Colleges. In fact, it would be difficult to imagine a school going for one day without ESPs.
When we talk about strengthening our schools, we need to strengthen everyone who works within them. Along with recruiting and retaining quality teachers, we must recruit and retain quality education support professionals. To do that, it certainly means providing decent wages and benefits to the people who spend their days making sure our students are safe, well fed and learning.
